Planning a week, 2 weeks, or even a month of meals is not hard to do. First make a list of every meal you can remember eating and liking. Keep it handy so you can add to it as you think of new things to add. After creating a list, make a theme plan (the one below is just one example). Then begin putting your favorite meal ideas into the categories they fit. There will be crossover as you can see on mine. Next print out or create a menu calendar (pdf file). Look over your list of recipes and begin planning your menus for the week, 2-weeks or month. Keep in mind what you already have in the pantry and fridge/freezer. Then make a list of what you'll need on your next grocery trip to complete the recipes and when you'll need them and voila! you are ready to go for it! |
