In a large pot, sauté onions until just starting to become transparent. Add meat and cook until meat is no longer pink. To the meat and onions add garlic, chili powder, cumin, and seasoned salt and blend thoroughly. (It's important that the seasonings coat the meat really well to flavor it.) Stir in chili beans and pureed tomatoes and blend everything together. Bring just to a boil and reduce to a simmer. Cook for 20-30 minutes, stirring occasionally. Serve with corn bread. |
